I am a landscape painter living in Muswell Hill, north London.  I love painting the parkland, heaths and woods near my home and my paintings often contain London’s unique mix of nature, architecture and people.  I paint in oils, with a vigorous and expressive style that tries to capture the feelings of freedom and energy of living in London.  After twenty years of practising as an architect, I committed to becoming a painter in 2022.  In 2024, I held solo exhibitions of my paintings in Burgh House, Hampstead and Lauderdale House, Highgate.  I was shortlisted for the Jackson’s Art Prize and my paintings have been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Show, New English Art Club’s Annual Exhibition and the ING Discerning Eye.  I recently showed with Tripod Gallery at the Battersea Affordable Art Fair, and I am looking forward to being part of the Hampstead Affordable Art Fair in May 2025.

I was also selected for participation in the television series Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2024, which aired on TV in January 2025.
